Mark Redmond is founder and CEO of Redmond Coaching. Mark has worked closely with emerging and current leaders in the multinational and domestic business sectors, across professional services firms, the State and semi-state sectors, the education and research sectors and the not-for-profit and charitable sectors – both in Ireland and internationally.

Mark has collaborated with hundreds of current and emerging leaders with organisations of all sizes from micro-businesses to the world’s largest multinationals, and in every sector from corporate to Government to not-for-profit.

Mark understands what it takes to be a trusted leader with impact, the challenges a leader faces, how to motivate teams and gain the trust of key customers and stakeholders. He also understands how a leader should invest in their own development and wellbeing.

Mark served as CEO for two of Ireland’s most respected business/professional organisations and is recognised for having delivered a programme of transformation for both. Mark has designed and helped deliver leadership development programmes for individuals at key stages of their careers. He is recognised as a trusted coach and mentor and has empowered career progression for others throughout his career.

Mark Redmond served as CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce Ireland – Ireland’s most respected and influential international business organisation –  and as CEO of the Irish Tax Institute – one of Ireland’s leading professional institutes. 

In both organisations Mark built dynamic leadership teams and led journeys of transformation underpinned by trusted partnership with stakeholders and the creation of powerful national and international networks.

Mark also served as Director with PwC and his areas of responsibility included leadership development.

Mark is an English and History graduate of Trinity College Dublin, he obtained a Professional Diploma in Accounting and MSc in Education & Training Management at Dublin City University (DCU), he is a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser and completed programmes in Comparative Tax Policy & Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School and Managing Teams for Innovation & Success at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Mark’s external/Board appointments over his career include the Governing Authority of University College Dublin, the Trade & Investment Council, the Better Balance Steering Group, the DCU Business School Advisory Board, Ibec’s National Council, the Investment Compensation Company, the Foundation for Fiscal Studies, the Commission on Taxation (2008-9) and the Executive Committee of AmCham’s in Europe.

Mark has extensive experience as a leadership voice in print, digital, broadcast and social media. He is a sought-after public speaker and has addressed Conferences across four continents. He has deep facilitation experience and has led the formulation and successful delivery of strategic plans in highly complex environments. 

A native of Wexford, Mark’s passions include life-long learning, helping others realise their potential, building a growth mindset, delivering great client experiences, gender equality, true inclusion, the creative arts and building impactful networks.

Married to Elaine, with two daughters and a son, Mark loves running, travel, reading, music, cinema and taking the occasional photo.
